Charles is a 4th year student in combined honours math and physics. He started his journey in physics with T2K experiment on neutrino oscillations and then migrated to research in quantum field theory. He has an interest that ranges most fields of physics and is very excited to investigate their beautiful implications. He is currently working on the 'topological Casimir effect' and, more generally, its relation with dark energy. Although reputed to have been working too hard, Charles does have other interests outside academia. In particular, he enjoys playing the flute, painting, hiking, playing ultimate and badminton with friends.
